    CORRIGENDUM

    1.         Reference to the advertisement published in daily newspapers, i.e.
    Daily The News Islamabad and Karachi Edition & Daily Jang Karachi and Quetta Edition dated 24 July 2022 and uploaded on PPRA’s website (http://www.ppra.org.pk) (Advertisement reference # TS485958 E dated 21 July 2022) and NUST’s website (http://www.nust.edu.pk) dated 21 July 2022, the dead line for receipt and opening of tender for Construction of Single Men Accommodation & Dinning Hall at NUST Campus Quetta has been amended.  The new dates are as under:-

    3.   Sealed bids duly prepared in accordance with instructions contained in the bidding documents must reach the Employer on 17 August 2022 at 1500 hours and will be opened at 1530 hours on the same day at Conference Hall Works Directorate NUST.                                          NOTICE INVITING TENDER

     

    The National University of Sciences (NUST) invites sealed

    tenders from interested construction contractors/firms for

    the Construction of Single Men Accommodation &

    Dinning Hall at NUST Campus Quetta.

     

    1. Eligibility Criteria for work

    Valid Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant category and discipline

     

    		 Category C-5 & Above
    ii Mandatory PEC Codes Relevant Codes

     
    iii Certification/Registration

    NTN Certificate, registered with Income and Sales Tax Departments on active taxpayers list of the Federal Board of Revenue

    Sales Tax Certificate

    iv List of litigation (if any) their nature and status/outcomes To be provided
    v Affidavit/Undertaking of non-blacklisting. Any firm/operator/entity blacklisted at the time of submitting its bid is ineligible to participate in the bidding process To be provided

     

    1. Documents will be issued from date of publication of NIT in Newspaper during office hours, on payment of a non-refundable tender fee of 5,000/- for each work. The tender fee should be in the form of Pay Order in favor of NUST Works Directorate Imprest Account. Submission of application for issuance of bid documents along with copy of valid PEC registration certificate are mandatory.

     

    1. Pre-bid Meeting: Pre-bid meeting will be held 02 August 2022 at 1200 hours at Conference Room Works Directorate NUST.
    2. Last date of Bid submission is 10 August 2022 up to 1500 hours. Opening at 1530 hours same day.
    3. A proposal will be treated as Non Responsive and shall not be considered for evaluation if any of the information mentioned in the Documents is omitted or not complied with.
    4. Method of Procurement: Single Stage Two Envelopes, under Public Procurement Rules 2004. Separate Sealed bids comprising of Technical & Financial proposal in respective envelops duly prepared in accordance with instructions contained in the bidding documents must reach the Employer on 10 August 2022 at 1500 hours. Technical proposal shall be opened on above mentioned date in the presence of NUST Bid Opening Committee and Bidders/representatives at Works Directorate Conference Hall. Financial proposal of technically qualified bidders shall be opened at same place for which date and time shall be intimated later. This advertisement is available at PPRA website at ppra.org.pk and NUST website at http://www.nust.edu.pk.
    5. In case of holiday on the day of submission/ opening, the bids will be received/opened on the next working day. NUST reserves the right to reject or accept any tender in light of PPRA 2004.
