MULTAN ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY (MEPCO) MULTAN

                        Invitation to Bids (NCB)                                  

1. This Invitation to Bids follows the Annual Procurement Plan of F.Y 2022-23 for the subject Procurement which appeared on PPRA / MEPCO website dated 21.07.2022.
2. The MEPCO has reserved the funds for the procurement planned during the financial year 2022-23. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the Procurement contract.
3. The MEPCO now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers of aforementioned materials.
4. The bidding shall be conducted in line with the “Single Stage Two Envelope” procedure of the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and any Regulations, Regulatory Guides, Procurement Guidelines or Instructions issued by the Authority (from time to time), and is open to all potential bidders.
5. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an acceptable form of the amount mentioned against each bid.
6. The Bidding Document, in English language may be purchased by the interested bidders from the date of publishing and on the submission of a written application to the address below up-to one day prior to opening date during office hours on the production of sales tax registration number/other documents/proof. Cost of each tender form is 4000/- (Non refundable) per document or may be sent by courier service if requested by the bidder for an additional fee of Rs.500/-. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery, in case the document may be sent by courier service. No tender document will be issued on the tender opening date.
7. The original bid along with one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in sealed envelope(s) must be delivered to the following address. The technical bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the office of Chief Engineer (Development) PMU MEPCO, Khanewal Road MEPCO Headquarter, Multan Circle Building, Opp. R.C Cola Factory, MEPCO Multan.
